On Wednesday, IMDb India revealed the Top 10 Indian Stars Of 2022….
The top 3 spots were taken by Dhanush, Alia Bhatt and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The list was majorly dominated by South celebrities.
With the phenomenal success of Thiruchitrambalam, Dhanush secured his position as the top star in India. He was also seen in an important role in the Hollywood film The Gray Man.
On the 2nd position, we have Alia Bhatt; who had a power-packed year with blockbuster hits like RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Darlings and Bramhastra this year. The 3rd spot is taken by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was mesmerizing as Nandini in the pan-Indian hit Ponniyin Selvan.
Owing to the success of RRR, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR also created a nationwide rage, bagging 4th and the 8th spot in the list of top Indian stars respectively.
Oo Antava star Samantha Ruth Prabhu ranks 5th on the list. The actress marked the widest pan-India release for a female-centric film with Yashoda.
Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan impressed the audience with his nuanced performance in Vikram Vedha and he occupies the 6th position on the list. The Golden girl of Bollywood – Kiara Advani is Rank 7. She has tasted success with the record-breaking collection of Bhool Bhulaiyya 2, and made her mark with an impressive performance in Jugjugg Jeeyo.
Pushpa star Allu Arjun is placed on the 9th position and Yash, who had a record-breaking run at the box office with KGF 2, is number 10!
