Delhi Commission For Women Demands Sajid Khan’s Removal From Bigg Boss 16!

Recently, Urfi Javed hit the headlines for bashing Shehnaaz Gill’s support for Sajid Khan.

For the unversed, the MeToo accused Khan is a part of Bigg Boss 16. Shehnaaz had a video message, welcoming him to the house, which didn’t go down well with the netizens.

Now,  Delhi Commission for Women panel has written a letter to Information and Broadcasting Minister, seeking the removal of Sajid Khan from Bigg Boss 16.

“It is inappropriate for an alleged sexual offender such as Sajid Khan to be included in a primetime show which is watched by adults and children alike,” said the DCW chief Swati Maliwal in the letter.

The letter further said that the show gave him an ‘opportunity to whitewash his wrongs and be re-launched amongst Indian audiences’.

“Sajid Khan’s inclusion in the show underlines the precedence that men who enjoy clout in the entertainment industry easily get away with abusive acts without facing any consequences. It also disrespects and invalidates those women who spoke out against his inappropriate sexual advances.”

The DCW chief concluded her letter by stating that Sajid should be banned from the show and an investigation should be launched against him.
