Shahid Kapoor NEW Movie; Hindi REMAKE Of THIS Malayalam Thriller?

Seems like, Shahid Kapoor is on a spree of signing back-to-back remake movies.

After headlining Kabir Singh and Jersey, we hear that Shahid is in talks for yet another south-Indian remake.

Sourced from a report, Shahid is said to be in advance talks to star in the Hindi remake of the 2013 Malayalam thriller – Mumbai Police.

Directed by Rosshan Andrrews (who helmed the Malayalam original as well), the remake will reportedly be produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur-led Roy Kapur Films.

Mumbai Police originally starred Prithviraj Sukumaran as the male lead. Currently, Rosshan is said to be working on the script with Hindi script writers.

The synopsis of the original reads – “ACP Antony Moses has managed to track down his friend’s killer when he meets with an accident resulting in partial memory loss. Soon, he is reassigned to investigate the murder and find the culprit.”

Shahid is also doing Ali Zafar’s next – tentatively titled Bloody Daddy – is the Hindi remake of a French film, Nuit Blanche.
