Indian comedian Kapil Sharma is touring in the UK and Canada for his live shows and is getting immense love for the same.
It is now also believed that Kapil Sharma has already signed his next movie, which will be a direct-to-digital release.
Kapil will be working with Applause Entertainment’s Sameer Nair for this movie that is set in the years soon after the partition.
As per Pinkvilla, “When Kapil heard the story, he loved the idea and agreed to be a part of the project. However, the signing formalities are yet to be done. Meanwhile, the makers have already begun the pre-production work for this direct-to-OTT film and will make the official announcement after Kapil returns to Mumbai. It will be an ensemble cast, and Kapil’s idol Gurdas Maan is also likely to feature in the project. Casting for other pivotal characters is still underway.”
Apart from this, it was earlier reported that Kapil and Nandita Das have collaborated on a project too where he will be playing the role of a food delivery rider and Shahana Goswami will be playing the lead role.
