Late Rajiv Kapoor last movie Toolsidas Junior new release date is finally out.

Directed by Mridul, the movie also stars Sanjay Dutt and Varun Buddhadev in the lead.

Rajiv Kapoor, who had passed away on February 9, 2021, was supposed to make his acting comeback with this film.

Toolsidas Junior is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashutosh Gowariker and Sunita Gowariker.

Set in Calcutta in 1994, the movie is inspired by true events. The heart-warming sports drama revolves around the life of a 13-year-old boy (Varun Buddhadev) who wants to avenge the defeat of his father Toolsidas (Rajiv Kapoor) in a game of Snooker. For this, he enlists the help of a former snooker champion Mohammad Salam (Sanjay Dutt).

Set to release on Netflix on May 23, 2022!
