Avatar: The Way of Water movie trailer was officially released online yesterday (May 9).
Directed by James Cameron, the long-waited Hollywood flick is a sequel to his 2009 blockbuster Avatar.
Avatar: The Way of Water stars the original lead pair Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana reprising their roles as Jake Sully and Neytiri respectively. Kate Winslet is the new addition to the star cast as she essays the role of Ronal.
The official synopsis the science-fiction sequel reads: “Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.”
Avatar, the first film of the franchise, was based on humans attempting to take control over Pandora to mine the valuable mineral unobtainium and their conflict with the local tribe Na’vi, a harmonious blue-hued species.

In cinemas on December 16, 2022 in 6 languages – English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
