Allu Arjun‘s latest blockbuster movie Pushpa: The Rise enjoyed a dream run at the box office.
Directed by Sukumar, the action-drama was released in theatres on December 17, 2021.
Co-starring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles, the sequel – Pushpa 2 – is already in works.
After the massive success of ‘Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1’, it is said that the makers have received a lucrative deal from a big production house. According to reports, a corporate production house, based in the North, had apparently offered a whopping deal of Rs 400 CRORES for the theatrical rights of ‘Pushpa 2’. However, the makers have rejected it.
”A renowned production house based in the North has offered the makers of ‘Pushpa’ a whopping Rs 400 crore approximate offer for the all languages theatrical rights of the film. This is excluding the OTT & satellite rights. It is likely that the makers have turned down the offer gently.”
– a source revealed to the portal.
“Post the success of Pushpa in the Hindi market, the makers are confident that part 2 will be bigger and wider. They are confident that Hindi numbers of the second part alone would be massive,” the source added.
