The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, has been receiving rave reviews from both critics and the audience.
The movie is based on the 1990 Exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits/Hindus during Kashmir Insurgency.
The movie stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, and Darshan Kumaar, amongst others, in pivotal roles.

The movie was released in theatres on March 11 and collected Rs 3.55 crores on its openig day. As per the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, The Kashmir Files has supposedly collected a total amount of Rs 60.20 CRORES at the box office in 5 days.
