The handsome hunk has a string of interesting movies like ‘Pathan’, ‘Attack’, ‘Ek Villain Returns’ & more lined up ahead of him.
John’s upcoming action thriller – ‘Ek Villain Returns’ – is a sequel to the 2014 blockbuster movie ‘Ek Villain’, featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead.
Directed by Mohit Suri (who helmed the 1st part as well), the much-awaited sequel also features Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in key roles.
Now, we hear that John has allegedly hiked his fees post the success of his 2019 movie ‘Batla House‘. If this report is believed to be true, John has supposedly charged a whopping amount of Rs 21 CRORES for ‘Ek Villain Returns’.
An insider informed the portal- “His market rate has been on an upward swing – the amount paid for Batla House was more than Satyameva Jayate, the amount he got for SMJ 2 was more than Batla House, the amount he got for Pathan was more than SMJ 2 and finally, his fees for Ek Villain Returns is higher than Pathan. Over the last 3 years, John’s acting fees have jumped from Rs. 7 crores to Rs. 21 crores.”
