‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ actor Mohit Raina took his fans by surprise when he announced his hush-hush wedding on January 1, 2022.
The handsome hunk has tied the knot with Aditi Sharma in a secret ceremony in Rajasthan.
Recently, during an interview with HT, Mohit Raina has finally opened up on his dreamy wedding and revealed that Aditi is NOT from the showbiz industry but from a tech background.
Talking about the wedding, Mohit said, “It was not a planned affair but a short notice decision that we took. It just happened and everything fell in place. The wedding was a close-knit family affair and took place in Rajasthan.”
The ‘Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev’ actor also talked about his wife Aditi and how he met her.
“We first met a few years ago. We mutually decided to move forward after a few years of our friendship, which had grown over time. I met her family during the pandemic (second wave) to ask for her hand. Then, families got together and decided to move forward.”
– said Mohit.
“I was not expecting the reaction. It was heartwarming, beautiful, and emotional for me. It made me realise how much people love me. I have always been a private person. For an actor, there has to be something that is just yours, close to your heart and this was very close to me personally. So I wanted to do it in a low-key manner,” the actor added.
On the work front, Mohit Raina will next be seen in the upcoming web series ‘Bhaukaal Season 2’, which will stream on MX Player from January 20, 2022.
