1. Red Chillies Entertainment
In 2002, Shah Rukh Khan & his wife Gauri Khan launched their production house ‘Red Chillies Entertainment’, which is equipped with a full-fledged VFX studio. It not only produces movies but also take care of visual effects and post-production through VFX. Red Chillies Entertainment did graphics for popular movies like ‘Ra. One’, ‘Krrish 3’, ‘Phillauri’, ‘Zero’ to name a few.
2. Kolkata Knight Riders
Shah Rukh Khan, along with actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta, owns the IPL (Indian Premier League) team- Kolkata Knight Riders. While SRK doesn’t supposedly acquire any personal stake in this cricket team, Red Chillies Entertainment reportedly owns a 55% stake in KKR.
3. KidZania
According to media, the ‘Swades’ actor reportedly acquires the 26% strategic stake in the Indian franchise of ‘KidZania’– an international chain of family entertainment centres or indoor parks that allow children between 5 and 13 age group to role-play adult occupations in a miniature city.
4. Brand Endorsements
SRK – who is a brand in himself – has been a face of many Indian and international brands like Nokia, Tag Heuer, LG, Byjus, Big Basket, Hyundai, Pepsi and many more. If this media report is to be believed, SRK allegedly charges Rs 3.5 crores – 4 crores for each brand endorsement.
