1. Controversy Around Saifeena’s Sons’ Names:
Saif & Kareena were trolled for naming their sons- Taimur Ali Khan (elder) & Jehangir Ali Khan (younger). While the netizen had linked Taimur’s name to the barbaric Turkic invader named ‘Timur’ and attacked the couple, a section of the internet erroneously believed that they had named their 2nd son after the 17th Mughal emperor Jahangir.
2. The Saifeena Wedding:
Kareena’s decision to tying the knot with Saif Ali Khan had created a lot of headlines back in 2012. They were trolled by a section of the society and some even went on to threaten them, who had allegedly accused Kareena of converting to Islam. However, the couple reportedly had to put it on record clarifying that Kareena didn’t adopt Islam after her wedding.
3. The Infamous Kurbaan Poster:
Kareena Kapoor & Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Kurbaan’ (2009) was embroiled in controversy after the political party of Maharashtra, Shiv Sena, objected to the film’s poster that showed Kareena’s bare-back. According to reports, some even had demanded to ban the movie.
