Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda is known for his versatile roles and interesting body of work.
He will next be seen in the romantic comedy film ‘Unfair & Lovely’, opposite Ilena D’Cruz.
Meanwhile, the actor is making his series debut in Jio Studios’ cop thriller drama ‘Inspector Avinash’, where he plays the role of a top cop. And now, the latest buzz is that Randeep has bagged yet another web project.
As per a media report, the ‘Extraction’ actor is said to be essaying a grey character in Netflix’s upcoming series that reportedly deals with the drug mafia in Punjab. The series is reportedly inspired by real events.
The report further states that the yet-to-be-titled thriller drama, which is going to be a Netflix original, will supposedly highlight the political-criminal nexus in Punjab that we often hear about.
“Randeep has a penchant for grey characters and he will continue to do see in this series. The series highlights the increasing drug abuse problem in the state. It is inspired by real events and has references to many incidents that have happened in the past,” a source revealed to News 18.
Directed by Balwinder Singh Januja, the series is said to go on floors next month and will apparently be shot in 3 months across Punjab. The series will reportedly feature an ensemble cast.
On the work front, the actor was last seen in Salman Khan‘s movie ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’.
