Sidharth Malhotra made his Bollywood debut with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in ‘Student Of The Year‘ which was released in 2012.
However, did you know that he was supposed to be originally launched by another director in a different film?
As per reports, Sidharth recently revealed that he had auditioned for a different movie, with a different director and had cleared audition for the same. The actor added that he prepped for the film and waited for about six to eight months but the project never took off. Sidharth later came to know that the director made the film with some bigger actor.
While talking about his beginning in the entertainment industry, the actors said that he was young and had no contacts in Mumbai. He decided to become an assistant director and learn by being on the film set. He believes that it was a game-changer for him.
However, on the work front, Sidharth will next be seen in Shershaah alongside Kiara Advani.
