Even though he said it was incurable and fatal. In my mind, I was thinking that my body has been trying to give me signals for months, and I was ignoring them. Then I got this strongest possible message. Intuitively, I knew something was wrong. But I didn’t have the courage to do anything, because I was trained to ignore what my body was telling me.”
6. Rakesh Roshan
Bollywood ace actor Hrithik Roshan’s veteran filmmaker dad Rakesh Roshan was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2018. Of course, he too recovered successfully saying he owes it to his strong mentality. I got a bit scared when I was told that my tongue may have to undergo a cut and do some grafting. I said ‘I don’t want to do all this’.”
