Actor Shivam Patil was last seen in the film ‘Aiyaary’ and has now opened up on social media about serious matters.
Shivam took to Instagram not too long ago and posted a thread describing his previous abusive relationships and allegations against him.
Patil first put up a series of details as a post on his account where he opened up about his relationship with Medha Shankar, an actress. There, he talked about being in a toxic relationship with her where she would apparently abuse him during a very vulnerable period in his life. Shivam also added that Medha constantly made jokes about ‘physically harming’ him. “While repeatedly drilling horrifying things into my head, she would tear objects in my room, pick up items that I was deeply attached to, bring them in front of my eyes and break them,” Patil wrote.
He also mentioned how Medha apparently did not want him talking about their relationship in fear of damaging careers. “She told me because both me and her are actor, she hopes I’m not talking about the relationship to other people because mentioning names might damage image and career prospects.”
In the next thread, Shivam spoke about his relationship with Srishti Poojari which eventually led to him being publicly accused of ‘sexual coercion’ and ‘sexual misconduct’. While Srishti and Shivam were broken off, two unrelated women by the names of Priyanka Paul and Aishwarya Subramanyam had posted several times about Shivam’s ‘behaviour’ towards Srishti. Patil claims Srishti was in touch with the two women and he attached a screenshot of their conversation regarding the same.
Shivam has submitted the entire matter to the Mumbai police including all the false allegations. He also posted a story saying he was removed from projects while this scandal blew up and many industry members had ‘unfollowed’ him too.
On the brighter side, Shivam says the support he receives from his friends and therapists remain constant and that they make sure to hear him out.
