South Indian superstar (and might we add the ladies’ favourite) Vijay Devarakonda turns 32 today!

Vijay had directed a short film called Madam Meerena in just five hours! The astonishing part is that it was done for a film festival, a challenge the actor took upon himself.

Vijay is also the first South Indian actor to cross 5 million followers on Instagram despite joining the social media app only in 2018. Now, he has a strong following of over 11 million netizens. Given his good looks and boyish charm, it certainly is no surprise.

Just as much as we love him, Vijay loves and adores his fans. As a mark to celebrate his fandom, the actor launched his very own clothing line called ‘The Rowdy Club’ in 2018.
There interestingly happens to be a story behind the name of his brand. Vijay named his brand after his fans who he affectionately calls his ‘Rowdies’.

If THIS report is to be believed, then it seems our hot bad boy Vijay was a little too influenced by his famous role in ‘Arjun Reddy’. For the film, he had to constantly shoot smoking/drinking scenes. But he quit smoking after the film shooting.

Vijay’s film Arjun Reddy went on to become one of his most accomplished films and his fame grew immensely with it. The Hindi remake titled Kabir Singh also became a blockbuster with Shahid Kapoor in the lead. Vijay apparently never watched Kabir Singh because he had put his heart and soul while acting in Arjun Reddy. However, he had also mentioned being happy for the success of Kabir Singh.
