Earlier this year, film critic and journalist Rajeev Masand had stepped in as the COO of KJO’s talent management company – Dharma Cornerstone Agency.
Amidst these tense times, Rajeev has hit the headlines for an unfortunate reason. The film critic is reportedly in CRITICAL CONDITION!
As per Free Press Journal report, Masand had tested Covid-19 positive and been admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital after his oxygen levels went down.
A close friend of the film critic told Film Information, “He is serious and the doctors are doing their best. Let’s pray for his quick recovery.”
However, contrary to rumours floating around, Rajeev Masand is NOT on ventilator, as clarified by Somen Mishra (Head of Creative Development (Scripts) at Dharma Productions).
Several Bollywood celebs like Bipasha Basu, Dia Mirza, Nimrat Kaur took to social media to express their concern. We, too, wish him a speedy recovery.
Last year, Rajeev Masand was entangled in controversy in the SSR case over ‘blind’ articles about the late actor.
