After Lust Stories and Ghost Stories, Netflix has another interesting anthology to offer the audience.
Titled ‘Ajeeb Daastaans‘, this 4-part anthology film has been produced by Karan Johar and is directed by Shashank Khaitan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan and Kayoze Irani.
Director Shashank Khaitan’s short film features Jaideep Ahlawat and Fatima Sana Shaikh and Armaan Ralhan. Fatima plays Jaideep’s bride, and he tells her on the wedding night that he loves someone else. How will this unhappy marriage play out?
Raj Mehta’s directorial stars Nushrratt Bharuccha, Inayat Verma and Abhishek Banerjee. Nushrat is shown as a house-help who wants a bright future for her child but has to compromise with an ill-intentioned guy to do so.

The 3rd film in the anthology, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Konkona Sen Sharma, and it revolves around the subject of same-sex love.
Lastly, Kayoze Irani’s short, features Manav Kaul as a mute man who falls in love with Shefali Shah, who is married and has a mute daughter too.
Ajeeb Daastaans premieres 16 April, on Netflix.
