EXCLUSIVE: Dhvani Bhanushali Tells Us Her Riyaz Routine, Dream Collab & Talks Independent VS Bollywood Music

Dhvani Bhanushali is currently enjoying the success of her latest song ‘Radha’ and we couldn’t contain our excitement in getting to know this diva better!

Talking exclusively with Instant Bollywood, Dhvani spills the beans on her riyaz routine, dream collabs and music!

When asked if she prefers making independent or bollywood music, Dhvani says, I think both independent music and Bollywood have their own fun. When you’re singing for someone else, you try to keep in mind their character. You have to get the brief of the situation and what is happening. You have to be in accordance with how the actor is in the movie and the expressions. Otherwise, it is so much fun (doing independent music) because you can use your own expressions. You can tell people about yourself and I feel that is such a beautiful thing.

Dhvani also reveals the artists she’d like to collaborate with. From India, I want to collaborate with Jass Manak, I think he is really cool. Also, there is a Tamil song – Enjoy Enjaami, it is a great song and I really want to work with the artists Dhee and Arivu. I really appreciate independent music like that.”

Can you imagine a collab between these musicians? What a contribution that’ll be to the industry!

Every great singer obviously has an equally incredible and tough riyaz routine. Dhvani too has a tight schedule and riyaz routine which she shares with us!

Keep your voice in check and try to avoid any cold drinks and always keep your throat hydrated. So I learnt this thing from Sonu sir, he keeps his tanpura on at all times. I do my warmups and then leave the house. If I’m really busy then I keep my tanpura on the whole time so I’m always in it. I try to squeeze in a riyaz session with my teacher three times and week and once with my vocal coach. I try to practice for one hour every day,” says Dhvani about her riyaz routine.
