From Ranveer Singh to Varun Dhawan… here are 5 Bollywood Celebs who appear to have had some spooky, real-life paranormal experiences!
1) Ranveer Singh & Peshwa Bajirao
Talking to Deccan Chronicle, Ranveer Singh had explained why he felt spooked, believing that he’d met Peshwa Bajirao’s ghost while shooting for Bajirao Mastani.
“I really think I saw Bajirao’s ghost once. It was a very trippy experience and I completely freaked out. I thought I felt some kind of presence and something told me it’s him.
There was a black wall on the sets on which some white dust had settled and formed the pattern in the shape of Bajirao’s figure. It had the turban, the eyes, nose, the mooch and the arms. The resemblance was for all to see.”
Ranveer concluded by saying – “Yes, it could well be my mind playing tricks, but I had a strong instinctive feeling. I am not someone who believes in ghosts. But I do have my moments of superstition.”
2) Govinda & Old Lady On The CHEST?
Govinda once had a terrifying haunting experience while shooting for one of his films at a hill station.
“Once I was shooting in a hilly area and the hotel I was staying in was pretty strange. In the middle of the night I woke up and realized that there was an old woman sitting on my chest,” Govinda revealed to IB Times.
The old lady also totally messed up his neat room!
“I frantically got up and put on the bedside night lamp. And the moment lights turned on, the old lady vanished. I looked around and realized that all my stuff which was kept neatly when I had slept was all over the place!!”
3) Adah Sharma & Creepy Portrait
Adah Sharma may have scared us shitless in 1920, but she too had quite the supernatural experience while shooting for the film in Allerton Castle, in Yorkshire. The castle had a portrait that RESEMBLED her.
Recalling the incident, she told TOI – “The caretakers told us stories about how the wife of the housekeeper, who had died, haunts the castle. When we reached there, we saw this huge portrait of her that’s hung on the wall, and the way the woman resembled me, it was uncanny. It was so unreal and crazy that I was really spooked out.”
A Masala report also has something strange to add – “The photographer asked me to get a still photo taken standing in front of the painting. The caretaker said that any pictures taken in front of the painting don’t get developed. But we went ahead and took a few pictures. But when we transferred the pictures to a laptop, they all came blurred or blank! That was quite spooky!”
4) Bipasha Basu & Aatma Tape
Bipasha Basu and the crew had a chilling experience while shooting for the supernatural thriller ‘Aatma’.
As per NDTV report, they heard a woman singing while shooting but get this…. there was NO SOUND on the tape!
Suparn Verma said, “I kept quiet about it. But when Bipasha asked me did you hear a woman singing? I said I heard it too. To our surprise, when the sound recordist played it back there was no sound on the tape.”
5) Varun Dhawan & Frank Sinatra?
While shooting for ABCD 2, Varun Dhawan felt that he had a paranormal experience with the American singer-actor Frank Sinatra. He was staying in Sinatra’s favourite suite for the schedule.
“While we were shooting in Vegas, I was given a suite at the Mirage which was called Sinatra suite because he used to stay there whenever he performed in the city, ” Varun told Indian Express.
“It was definitely haunted because at night I would hear someone singing and the doors would open weirdly!”
