Akshay Kumar has always been known to shoot 3-4 films annually and the actor has already started working on ‘Bachchan Pandey‘.
Unfortunately for him (and us), Akshay had to let go of a film and that just so happened to be Mudassar Aziz’s next directorial.
Mudassar Aziz’s next is produced by Jackky and Vashu Bhagnani, who are also producing Akshay’s film Bellbottom which is to release on the 28th of May. As per a Bollywood Hungama report, Akshay had signed the film in November 2019, and is supposedly a is a light-hearted entertainer.
“Due to conflicting schedules, Akshay has decided to move out of this film. He has instead collaborated with Jackky on Mission Lion,” says a source.
After Akshay Kumar’s exit, the filmmakers have decided for Rajkummar Rao to come on board with Shraddha Kapoor as his female lead. Both were last seen in the 2018 sleeper hit, Stree and might also be seen in the film’s prequel, Munjha, and Stree’s sequel. Both the films will not be shot anytime soon however, Mudassar’s next is expected to go floors this year itself.
