Throwback: When Salman Khan Had A MAJOR Crush On Rekha; Here’s What He Used To Do!

Bhaijaan of Bollywood, Salman Khan, who turned 55 yesterday, continues to be one of the most eligible bachelors in the industry.

His relationships have always been the talk of the town. Did you know there was a time when Salman was mesmerized by the legendary beauty – Rekha?

Yes, that’s right! Let’s have a little throwback to Khan’s crush on her. 

When Rekha had come on Bigg Boss 8, to promote her film Super Nani, the duo had indulged in some flirty banter and interesting memories and revelations were made!

The Dabangg actor had confessed that despite having no interest in yoga, he had joined yoga classes just because Rekha was the teacher.

“Uss waqt yoga se toh mera koi connection tha hi nahi par kyunki Rekha ji wahaan pe sikhati thi yoga, main aur mere dost pohoch jaaya karte the (Back then, I was not even remotely into yoga, but my friends and I used to go there because Rekha was the one teaching),” he had said.

While Rekha had revealed that his crush bloomed at the tender age of 6-7 itself, when he used to follow her around on her morning walks on his bicycle – 

“Main walk pe jaati thi subah subah and ye bas che saat saal ke the, usse jyada nahi, ye cycle chalatein the..Main chalti thi aage aage aur ye mere piche piche. Unko maalum hi nahi tha ki unko usi waqt mujhse ishq hogya tha. (I used to go on my morning walks, and Salman was this 6-7-year-old kid, who used to follow me around on his bicycle. He did not know it at the time but he fell in love with me then).”

“It’s true. He went back and told everyone in the house, ‘I want to marry that girl when I grow up,’” Rekha had added, to which Salman said, “Shayad isliye meri shaadi nahi hui (Maybe that is why I did not get married till date).”

Heheh, now isn’t that a sweet anecdote?

Salman Khan and Rekha had shared screenspace for the first time in the movie ‘Biwi Ho Toh Aisi’.
