Last month, actress Luviena Lodh had dropped quite the bomb, accusing Mahesh Bhatt and family of harassment.
She had claimed that her husband Sumit Sabharwal who allegedly dealt drugs to actresses like Amyra Dastur and Sapna Pabbi was Bhatt’s nephew.
Luviena had stated that she was divorcing her husband as he was in the business of supplying drugs and human trafficking. She also alleged that Mahesh Bhatt knew of this business and called him the ‘biggest don’ in the industry.

Soon afterwards, the Bhatt brothers filed a 1 crore defamation suit against Luviena, while refuting all allegations as slanderous and false.
Luviena’s estranged husband, Sumit Sabherwal, also issued a statement clarifying that he was NOT related to the Bhatts, but merely an employee of Vishesh Films.
‘Mr. X’ Actress Amyra Dastur had also denied the drug allegations against her, claiming they were ‘unfounded and malicious’. She had also stated that she would be taking the legal route against Luviena.
As per DNA report, Dastur had moved Bombay High Court against Lodh, seeking to restrain her from making defamatory statements against her on electronic and social media. Amyra also sought damages for harm caused to her reputation and social standing.
On Monday, Bombay High Court granted an interim order of injunction, restraining Luviena Lodh from “publishing, circulating… or republishing any defamatory comments and/or offending videos” against Amyra Dastur.
Luviena Lodh’s lawyer Prashant Pandey had argued that Luviena merely “placed truth and facts as noticed on social and electronic media” and that she was “ready to undergo Narco analysis test in support of her statements.”
He later added that Lodh did not and does not intend to make any defamatory statements against Amyra Dastur.
The Court has granted 4 weeks’ time for Lodh to file a reply to the plea and 2 weeks for Dastur to file her response.
Celebrating the Bombay High Court’s action, Amyra took to Twitter to issue a statement:
