As per a TOI report, Rhea Chakraborty apparently used another phone registered under her mother, Sandhya Chakraborty’s name to contact drug dealers.
The NCB had taken the phone during a raid of Rhea’s residence on the 4th of September.
NCB’s deputy director KPS Malhotra shared a statement wherein he said, “Few journalists are asking that whether Rhea used to make any contraband related calls from her mom’s phone. The same is not verified and not based on any facts of the investigation.“
Rhea’s lawyer, Advocate Satish Manshinde released a statement earlier wherein they said they are in no hurry to apply for the actress and her brother’s bail.
The statement read as “Even if we get a copy of the order today we are not in a hurry & moving immediately. We will study the order, it’s implications and developments in the case at the NCB level and then decide. There’s no room for speculation. Once it’s filed, we will share a copy of the Bail Application.“
