CBI Investigation Update in SSR Case

The CBI Investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput case is going on in full swing!

Recently, the team recreated the crime scene from June 14 at Sushant’s house with SSR’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani, cook Neeraj and staff Dipesh Sawant.

As per DNA report, the team later continued questioning Siddharth Pithani, Neeraj Singh and Dipesh Sawant as it found some “inconsistencies” in their statements.

CBI Seeks AIIMS’s Opinion

As reported by India Today, a four-member of doctors from AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), headed by Dr Sudhir Gupta has been formed to give their opinion on the autopsy report of Sushant Singh Rajput. The team will head to Mumbai after analysing the reports.

Dr Sudhir Gupta said that since there was no time stamp on the autopsy report, the Police should have taken a second opinion from doctors. The police officials, however, did not do so.

“I will be travelling with the team of doctors to Mumbai on Thursday (August 27),” Gupta further said.

CBI at Waterstone Resort

CBI had visited the Waterstone Resort on Sunday, where Sushant had spent two months. They tried to determine how Sushant was behaving when he was staying there. The team were spotted again on Monday.

As per Republic World report, CBI is also probing the ‘spiritual healing’ and ‘depression’ angle regarding Rhea-Sushant’s resort visit in November. It is being said that a ‘spiritual healer’ was called to the resort and a meeting was held between Sushant and the ‘healer’ between November 21-23.

Earlier, Sushant’s IPS Officer brother-in-law had spoken about this trip in the informal complaint to Bandra DCP, alleging threat to SSR’s life:

“On the pretext of curing him of depression, she and family took him to a resort near the airport, and kept him there for months. Since then, they are managing him and his business affairs. He is downhill since then.”

The report further states – Sushant’s accountant Rajat Mewati too was questioned by the CBI on Sunday night. He had also been quizzed by ED as well in the money laundering angle. Sushant’s staff Samuel Miranda, SSR’s landlord and psychiatrist have also been questioned in the case.

Rhea Chakraborty Not Summoned Yet

“Rhea Chakraborty and her family have not received any summons from the Central Bureau of Investigation, so far. If they receive a summon, they will appear before the agency,” said Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde.
