Singer-Songwriter Darshan Raval who was the 1st runner up in India’s Raw Star has been capturing our hearts with not just his voice but his lyrics too.
After stepping a few stones, Raval had set a brave foot into Bollywood and gave us tracks that we never knew could touch our broken hearts. Here are the five times that our hearts fluttered at the sound of his voice.
1. Ek Tarfa
Ek Tarfa is Darshan’s latest track released on the 15th of July this month and has already gained over 44 million views. Talking about his ‘Monsoon Song’, Raval reveals that he is glad about the positive response. In a report by Telangana Today, Darshan says, “I am glad that ‘Ek tarfa’ has generated such a positive response. It’s become a tradition of sorts to release a song during the monsoon season and so far it’s been extremely fruitful.”

One can feel dead not by dying but by experiencing fatal unrequited love. The song is a tribute to the feeling of lost love and that ‘true love is never about posession’.
2. Asal Mein

Tum nahi ho mere
Heartbreak comes in waves and each one gets stronger. This Darshan Raval song peronifies sided love. ‘I am yours but you were never mine’, a feeling of loss without really losing.
