5 Bollywood actresses whose plastic surgeries went wrong!

Who doesn’t wish to be called a FLAWLESS BEAUTY! Everyone wants to look young and beautiful forever! Some accept the natural formula of ageing gracefully while some resort to cosmetic surgeons. Many of our Bollywood stars have spent their fair share of time at a surgeon’s office in order to change their facial or body features.

Here’s a list of 5 Bollywood stars who took a decision and went under the knife:

#1 Anushka Sharma

Bollywood’s bubbly babe, Anushka Sharma shocked us all with her apparent lip job! She was trolled by the audiences by being called “Duck-faced” when she appeared on Karan Johar’s very popular talk show Koffee With Karan. Anushka gave inquisitive fans the clarification of not going under the knife and stated that her new lips were a result of lip enhancing tools.

#2 Vaani Kapoor

After her three year stagnant career in Bollywood, Vaani Kapoor finally got her much awaited break with the movie, Befikre. But the actress decided to go under the knife for a lip job and chin surgery right before her shoot started. The results showed up on the big-screen and fans were convinced she had changed her features.

However, the actress mentioned before the release of Befikre that she had in fact not done anything surgical. She said, “Does it look like I’ve done something? I don’t know what to say. I have lost weight; my face is bound to look different. We shot in Paris when it was freezing; the cameras keep zooming in and out. The face looks different from different angles. I can’t afford surgery, I am only one-film old.“

#3 Rakhi Sawant 

Rakhi Sawant is known for her bold attitude and equally well-known for her choice of body changes. During a promotional event for her 2016 film ‘Ek Kahani Julie Ki’, the actress opened up in a pretty matter-of-factly way about her cosmetic transitions.

Rakhi Sawant very boldly said, “I have undergone plastic surgery. I got my breasts done. Big deal.”

The actress wasn’t just done yet. She also continued with, “If you start collecting the plastic that has gone into our Bollywood bodies, I can fill three trucks outside this very building. At least I’m honest enough to admit to it,”

#4 Ayesha Takia

Salman Khan’s ‘Wanted’ co-star, Ayesha Takia was at an event when everyone could not help but notice her changed facial features. The stretched eyelids, lifted cheekbones and fuller lips are assumed to be an outcome of the actress undergoing plastic surgery.

Talking to Indian Express a couple of years ago, Ayesha denied the surgeries.

“Online trolling and bullying has reached a new level, I guess. A handful of vicious people and gossip columns have decided to totally morph and distort my pics but the truth will prevail as I’m on social media every day and shooting/out and about.

People can see what I really look like and luckily I have amazing followers on Instagram who I interact with daily, so they have not believed these lies and supported me all the way.”

#5 Koena Mitra

She may not be the first Bollywood damsel to go plastic but she’s definitely a victim of it. Her accidentally wronged nose job had left doctors praying she would get better.  

In an interview with TOI, she got candid with what the painful memory was like. “After the surgery my bones started swelling up. Even the doctors gave up and said that only medicine and prayers will work,”

“I sat at home initially. But I could not take it any more and started going out with that face of mine,” she says, post mentioning the fact that the doctors had given her six months.

“I didn’t hide anything. But people spoke and wrote the worst kind of about me,”

But of course Koena handled the dislike with grace. She bravely mentioned the positive outcome of the situation. “Suddenly I was this trendsetter. Whenever a cosmetic surgery goes wrong, people say I was the first brave one to talk about it.”
